Nothing more than this picture to share, I’m afraid. It was long time ago, this was part of a business development trip in the North of China, in a region where back then almost no-one was speaking english.
I had to travel with a translator, and face one-to-one meetings for three days with representative of the Party at the local and provincial level. I guess I had little previous public reputation, and they had to make sure I wasn’t sharing anything dangerous in my speech or underdelivering.
Well, I passed that exam and we all had fun that day over dinner, as far as I remember.
